Simple, safe and stress-free

How Tinalas works

Two journeys, one standard of trust. Here is exactly what happens for families and for caregivers.

For families

Finding your caregiver

1

Search free

Enter your ZIP code and the type of care you need. Browse verified caregiver profiles with photos, experience and rates. No account required.

2

Join Tinalas

Become a member to open full profiles, request caregivers and post a care job. Cancel anytime from your dashboard.

3

We arrange the introduction

Our coordinator calls you, confirms the caregiver is available and suitable, and arranges the introduction. You never chase anyone yourself.

4

Agree and begin care

Agree the schedule and hourly rate directly with your chosen independent caregiver, then care begins in your home.

5

Ongoing support

Needs change. Your membership keeps the whole registry available whenever you need cover, extra hours or a different kind of help.

Joining the registry

1

Apply in four steps

Tell us about yourself, your experience and services, upload your documents and review. It takes about ten minutes and saves as you go.

2

Tinalas vetting

We confirm your identity, review your experience and references, check credentials such as CPR and First Aid, and interview you personally.

3

Approval and Verified badge

Once approved, your profile goes live with the Tinalas Verified badge, the mark families look for first.

4

Get matched

Browse jobs that fit your services, area and schedule. Apply with one tap and message families directly.

5

Work your way

You choose your assignments, set your own rate and manage your availability. Tinalas caregivers are independent contractors.

Our vetting standard

What Tinalas Verified actually means

A badge is only worth what stands behind it. Here is every check a caregiver passes before their profile can go live.

Identity confirmed

Government photo identification is checked against the application, and right to work is confirmed.

References contacted

We speak with prior families or employers about reliability, judgement and warmth.

Credentials reviewed

CPR, First Aid and caregiving certificates are checked and dated before approval.

Personal interview

Every caregiver speaks with our team before being admitted to the registry.

Ongoing standards

Reviews, response times and reported concerns are monitored continuously.

You still choose

Vetting narrows the field. You interview and decide who enters your home.
